Perhaps the ballpark’s most distinctive feature is its light towers. Rickwood has five of them that stand 75' high and angle out slightly beyond the roof. The steel-frame towers are a lasting legacy of the company that made them. Truscon Steel of Youngstown, OH went out of business in the 1970s. Rickwood's light towers were manufactured by them in 1936.
