The players and coaches of the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates are listed in order of appearance on the team photo taken at Three Rivers Stadium.
The top of the plate is inscribed with the words 1979 World Series Champions beneath the Pirates' classic logo.
In addition to the team roster, the bottom of the plate lists the Pirates' combined regular and postseason record and scores from Pittsburgh's playoff victories over the Reds and Orioles.
