My 5 favorite Major League ballparks:
-
Fenway Park
Boston Red Sox
You can't be seriously into baseball stadiums and not have Fenway at number one. And the Italian sausage is to die for.
-
Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles Dodgers
Another beauty, with hills all around. You feel like you're in California sitting in that ballpark. The Dodgers suck, though.
-
Wrigley Field
Chicago Cubs
Sit in the bleachers and get hammered. Then you'll understand.
-
Safeco Field
Seattle Mariners
The best of the hoodies, in my opinion. With all the open space, it's even cool when the roof is closed. Chase Field? Not so much.
-
Kauffman Stadium
Kansas City Royals
Fountains, fountains, fountains! The place has a small, intimate feel that's lost even in the newer ballparks that try to achieve it. It's as close to a cozy minor league park as you can get in the bigs, which is fitting. You're getting single-A quality baseball on the field.
