An Afternoon at Wrigley Field
A picture-perfect summer Sunday afternoon produced this panorama of the friendliest of confines and it highlights the Wrigley "skyline," which is one-of-a-kind as no less than eight mostly packed sets of bleachers on the Sheffield and Waveland avenue rooftops can be seen in the print from its vantage point of one of the best seats inside the house. The behind home plate view also offers up a straight on look at the hand-operated scoreboard and glimpses of the narrow aisles within the grandstand. Of course, there's a game going on and that's what 39,016 paid to see and you can clearly see too, specifically during the 2nd inning of a matinee in August of 2010 when Cincinnati's catcher was at the plate on the Cubs' diamond facing a rookie pitcher named Thomas Diamond, whose stint in the majors turned out to be short lived. But the magic of a typical day at Wrigley Field will live on forever thanks to this poster, which captures the glory of everything that brings so many folks together on game day in Wrigleyville.

Wrigley Field - Batter Up
No ballpark in the world is more associated with afternoon baseball than Wrigley Field, where the Cubs played 5,687 consecutive day games before lights were finally installed in 1988. This panoramic print was taken on a hazy summer afternoon in the early 1990s when the Cubs were playing the Braves. It captures Wrigley in all its daytime glory - you can see the bleachers and rooftop seats, ivy on the walls, and even read the manually operated scoreboard in center.

Wrigley Field - The Friendly Confines
There's no better place on Earth to watch baseball than the Friendly Confines on Chicago's North Side. This panoramic view was taken under the lights at Wrigley Field during the 2001 pennant race as the Cubs were playing the Marlins. As always, the grandstands and bleachers are packed. This poster truly captures Wrigley Field's timeless appeal.

2009 Winter Classic
The 701st meeting between two of the NHL's original six teams became the first hockey game ever played in 94-year old Wrigley Field's history, an event captured magnificently in this panorama of the venerable ballpark. The clarity of the print is as crisp as the weather, which was 32 degrees at faceoff, and it shows the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings in their throwback uniforms and fans in their winter wear all standing at attention during the national anthem. "We were all looking at each other during the anthem -- 'Wow, this is awesome,'" said Detroit's Jiri Hudler, who scored two goals in Detroit's 6-4 win. What is also awesome is the sight of a snow-covered Wrigley with an ice rink spread from first to third base, with the rink's exterior designed to resemble the old ballyard's famous brick walls. There's also the hand-operated scoreboard listing the day's NHL matchups, the rooftops on Waveland and Sheffield packed like they are for Cubs games, and a replica ivy-covered wall in front of the real thing in the outfield. It's a unique scene that will never be seen again, but one that is preserved forever thanks to this "cool" poster.
