Mike Smith is the world's foremost authority on aerial sports photography. A former private pilot, he has been taking photos of stadiums via helicopter since 1991. Smith's aerial image of Candlestick Park was taken during its final baseball game (Giants vs. Dodgers) on September 30, 1999.
