Eighteen months and $27.2 million dollars later, Charlotte County Stadium had a new and very much improved look, plus a new name: Charlotte Sports Park. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays also underwent a rebranding, first removing Devil from their name and then shocking everybody and advancing to the 2008 World Series.
