Ebbets Field was one of the most revered ballparks in the history of baseball. Built on the site of a garbage dump, Brooklyn's beloved Dodgers called it home for 45 years. Leveled by a wrecking ball in 1960, renowned sports artist Al Sorenson has brought the ballpark back to life, capturing the Ebbets exterior as it appeared during its game day heyday in this vibrant giclée print.
Exactingly reproduced from the artist's original acrylic painting, in rich detail you can read the words "Ebbets Field" scrawled atop the famous five story high rotunda that stood at 55 Sullivan Place in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
From the game day garb worn by the fans of yesteryear to the vintage automobiles driving by, this giclée of Ebbets Field has as timeless an appeal as the sport of baseball itself.

What is a Giclée print?
A giclée is a fine art print made from a digital source using a specialized ink-jet printer capable of producing incredibly detailed prints. Superior to traditional lithographs, giclée prints have all the tonalities and hues of the original painting and no visible dot screen patterns. Made using archival quality inks, the giclée printing process allows for better color accuracy than other means of fine art reproduction. Because their colors are vibrant and details so crisp, giclées are now commonly found in museums and galleries as they are often indistinguishable from the original painting. The giclée of Ebbets Field is printed on canvas, which will not crease and is more durable than traditional fine art paper.
